Mission Statement
Our Mission is to provide services to children and their families who require extra support in a family centred model which acknowledges and respects each individual.
Philosophy
Our work is guided by our beliefs that:
- Children who require extra support are entitled to quality programs of intervention, which facilitates the physical, social emotional, communicative and intellectual development.
- Effective service must focus on the child within the context of the family and community.
- Programs must focus on early recognition and intervention aimed at reducing disability and developmental delay.
- Programs must be readily accessible and developed to meet the individual needs of the child and family.
- Services must be delivered through a collaborative and trans-disciplinary team effort, which includes children, parents and professionals working in an atmosphere of equality and mutual respect.
- Public awareness and understanding of the services provided to children and their families who require extra support must be promoted.
