Children who require extra support are entitled to quality programs of intervention, which facilitates the physical, social emotional, communicative and intellectual development.

The Quesnel & District Child Development Centre offers many professional programs and services delivered to children and their families who require extra support in a family centered model.

The CDC is recognized as a community leader in services for children with special needs. Many of the programs currently offered are provided throughout the community at schools, daycares, homes, and other agencies. As the needs of the community have grown, so have the range and extent of the services.

Bursary Winner!!  We're pleased to announce that Amy Kopetski is the 2007-2008 winner of the Child Development Centre's bursary. Amy will be attending the College of New Caledonia in the fall of 2008 and is enrolled in the Early Childhood Education program. Congratulations Amy and all the best in your future!

Founded in 1966 as the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, CARF International is an independent, nonprofit accreditor of human service providers.

The Quesnel and District Child Development Centre was pleased to receive a three year accreditation in 2006.
